Roy De Giglio – Managing Director / Builder
Since 1999 Roy started as an apprentice whilst working for Altone Construction. During this time Roy studied and was then able to pursue his career in becoming a Builder. The opportunity to work in the UK enhanced Roy’s skills and gave him the ability to work under circumstances that were outside his comfort zone. Working in the area of Chelsea and delivering high end residential homes is where Roy’s experience and knowledge expanded. His return back to Australia opened many doors as Roys reputation and hardwork was noticed by companies such as Pacific Plus Constructions and Horizon. Roy has completed four Award Winning Projects between 5 million to 15 million and worked with Sydney’s most innovative and ground breaking architects – Kaintoch, Chen Chow little and Popov Bass.
On a personal front Roy and his wife Andrea renovated three homes on their own. The experience and the knowledge gained from this led the couple to start RCD Projects and continue along the journey of Building and renovating homes. This is a true passion for Roy as he thrives on delivering great quality work whilst building dream homes for clients.
Andrea De Giglio – Director / Interior Designer
With a passion for customer experience and thriving in delivering top results for clients, Andrea’s experience in this area provides that nurturing and professional approach to all client interactions. Andrea’s career history in the Design/Marketing industry as well as IT has provided her with the ability to form exceptional relationships with clients and partners. Working for Metcash, Dell, Microsoft and IBM gave her the ability to be across many large accounts and Big projects that involved complex solutions around delivering second to none products and projects. In 2011 Andrea was introduced to the building industry as she and Roy renovated their first property. Doing it all on their own provided many challenges whilst working full time. This also created new challenges and possibilities that would soon become a passion. The second renovation took place in 2014, this is when they decided to build their own home from the ground up. Andrea designed/styled and managed the whole project whilst working full time and with a young child. It was then that the couple realised that they were “The Dream Team” and also realised that doing this for other families would provide them great satisfaction.
